This is a crazy episode for me to watch. You probably don't know this, but once upon a time I wanted to be an actor and then God led me away from that dream. I also wanted to be a teacher, but there were so many rules and policies that I disagreed with, that being a teacher within the public school board no longer felt like a good fit for me. On occasion I have questioned if abandoning those dreams so many years ago was the right decision for me to make, but I can see now that my life would have been very different if I continued walking down either of those paths. The magnificent thing is that I have come to know in my heart that my life and existence have been divinely protected and guided by God this entire time. The Lord Jesus Christ is guiding my every step! He knows that my true desire is to be with Him so He is guiding me to Him. So many times I have made the wrong choice, but He continues to come and find me in this world. Yes. I'm pretty sure I am divinely protected. "Dear Jesus, Thank you for coming to show me the right path I am supposed to be on, and for reminding me that if I simply believe in Your greatness and Your love for me; that if I seek You with all my heart and with all my soul and if I love You above all things - You will protect me and provide for me if this life (and in the next). You are my greatest joy and most pressing hope for the future. You are almighty and all powerful and You cannot be stopped. Thank you for loving me enough to come back for me my Lord. I eagerly await Your return. Your humble servant, Carmen"

I found a new Christian YouTuber today! I loved the way Allie Beth Stuckey brought everything back to scripture and reminded her listeners that we (as Christian) cannot replace God's doctrine for worldly doctrines if we want to be raptured into His Kingdom (which could happen any day now). Let this be a wakeup call and a reminder that judging people based on external appearances is wrong - we should be analyzing the contents of people's hearts , not their skin colour, to see if they are children of God, or children of Satan. Remember, our outward actions, result from the inward condition of our heart. In our sinful nature, we bear things such as idolatry, sexual immorality, jealousy, lying, stealing, and fits of anger. "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control…" To understand more about the contrasts of the works (or fruit) of the flesh compared to those of the Holy Spirit, open up your bibles to Galatians 5:16-24. And please don't allow Satan to confuse you with this lie....... The question has never been, "Who does God love?" - For God loves everyone. He made you. Of course He loves and treasures you. The real question is whether YOU love God and that decision (the willful choice to accept or reject God's free gift of salvation) has eternal consequences. Never forget that truth - for your very existence depends on it. Blessings XO I'm sorry I haven't posted very much this month. I've been in deep prayer trying to understand what's going on in the world and I got side-tracked - I'm sorry. But I am happy to report that I found a great video to watch if you want to understand how this nightmare ends for us Christians. I am blown away by everything I've been learning and this was such a blessing to have pop up in my feed today. Enjoy xo |
