QUOTE OF THE DAY!

We are instructed by God to be custodians of the earth - not abusers of the earth. Are you using your hands to take care of our planet and cultivate it? Or are you taking from it - without contributing anything back?

Christian Persecution is to be Expected!

1/24/2021

Apostle Paul warned that:
“everyone who wants to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted” (2 Timothy 3:12)
and Jesus told us Himself that if they persecuted Him, they will also persecute His followers (John 15:20). We simply cannot escape this harsh reality.
We must fully accept that to walk with the Lord
means we will be hated by the world.

Why?
Because we love God and have chosen His way over man’s way. It really is that simple.

If we were like the people of this world and indulged in things like,
vanity, earthly sensuality, acquiring monetary wealth,
and mocking those who do not “tow the party line.”

The world would not oppose us.
But we do not belong to the world……
We belong to God in heaven Who purchased us with
His own blood on the cross
.
We are no longer motivated by the desires of the flesh.
We are motivated by the love of God and what is
holy, righteous, and good in
HIS EYES.
The world, by contrast, is driven by the love of sinful desires and fleeting moments of pleasure and indulgence,
and “it is this separation from the world
that arouses the world’s animosity.”

We choose God. They choose themselves.
But do not become saddened or downtrodden by this fact. James argues that trials test the Christian’s faith, develop endurance in life, and help develop maturity (James 1:2).

And this has certainly been my experience also.
As steel is tempered in the forge, trials and persecution
serve to strengthen the character and resolve of believers.

So, press on friends.

Thank God for His grace and patience with us.

Express gratitude for those whom we love in the Lord and who stand with us during these difficult times.

And continue to pray for those who accuse, misuse, or abuse us.

Peace be with you brothers and sisters in Christ.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY WINSTON!

“I know the plans I have in mind for you, declares the Lord;
they are plans for peace, not disaster,
to give you a future filled with hope.”

— Jeremiah 29:11
I love you so very much Sir Winston.

Thank you for the joy you bring into my life. For the snuggles, the piggyback rides, and all the playful and peaceful moments. :-)

You are a gift from God for me - that I know. I knew the moment I saw your sweet face that you were meant for us. Thank you for the joy you bring to our little family - for the daily reminders of patience, selflessness and sheer delight.

You are the cat of many faces, bubba! We love you so very, very much.
Happy HAPPY Birthday Sir Winston.

it's a good thing to be hated by the world.

"But understand this, that in the last days difficult times will come.

For people will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy, unloving, irreconcilable, slanderers, without self-control, savage, opposed to what is good, treacherous, reckless, conceited, loving pleasure rather than loving God.

They will maintain the outward appearance of religion but will have repudiated its power. So avoid people like these.

For some of these insinuate themselves into households and captivate weak women who are overwhelmed with sins and led along by various passions. Such women are always seeking instruction, yet never able to arrive at a knowledge of the truth.

And just as Jannes and Jambres opposed Moses, so these people - who have warped minds and are disqualified in the faith - also oppose the truth.

But they will not go much further, for their foolishness will be obvious to everyone, just like it was with Jannes and Jambres."

- 2 Timothy 3:1-9

Spirits of truth and spirits of deception.

1/20/2021

"Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God. For many false prophets have gone out into the world.

By this you will know the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God, and every spirit that does not confess Jesus is not from God.

This is the spirit of the antichrist,
which you have heard is coming and which is already in the world at this time.

You, little children, are from God and have overcome them,
because greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world.

They are of the world.

That is why they speak from the world’s perspective, and the world listens to them.

We are from God.

Whoever knows God listens to us; whoever is not from God does not listen to us.
That is how we know the Spirit of truth and the spirit of deception."

the 10 commandments

 Hi Friends,

Here is my very first issue of the 2021 Christ Based Healing Readings.

I will be uploading passages from the bible and recording it for you to either read or listen to. Today's scripture is from the Old Testament in the book of Exodus, Chapter 20. titled,

The 10 Commandments.

I recommend doing a deep drive to see how closely you've been following God's word lately and if you're struggling with sin, I encourage you to watch this video:  True Repentance Explained.

It helped me a lot.

flashback to my thoughts in 2017!

I often wonder what the world would look like if we stopped focusing on our differences and became aware of how very similar we are.

What if instead of seeing "enemies", we learned to recognize ourselves in others?

What would the world feel like if we decided to replace our fear and prejudice with love and compassion? What would the world look like if we stopped pointing the finger outward and instead, turned it inward?

What if we all became a little more interested in being the best versions of ourselves, instead of focusing on how others could be better?

What if every day our mantra was: "How can "I" do better?"

What would the world look like then?

History is repeating itself.

Hitler knew that in order to manipulate 70 million people, his voice needed to enter German houses several times a day.

For this reason, he launched a series of affordable radio sets (we currently have Smart Phones, Big Tech, and the Main Steam Media to pump out propaganda to the masses).

Then, on March 24, 1933, the Reichstag passed what became known as the Enabling Act by a vote of 141 to 94. It “enabled” the chancellor of Germany to punish anyone he considered an “enemy of the state.”

The act allowed “laws passed by the government” to override the constitution. (we are currently witnessing an attack on free speech in this country and an unbelievable amount of censorship because hate speech is being confused with speech people hate).

In 1968 Martin Luther King Jr. said:
“If the moderates fail to act now, history will have to record that the greatest tragedy of this period of social transition was not the strident clamor of the bad people,
but the appalling silence of the good people.

In end, we will remember not the words of our enemies, but the silence of our friends.
He who passively accepts evil,” King added,
“is as much involved in it as he who helps to perpetrate it.

He who accepts evil without protesting against it is really cooperating with it.”
Why so many people think it is OK to erase the voices and lives of another person these days is beyond me.

I cannot emphasize this enough - it is very important that differing opinions be shared, discussed, and evaluated.

Silencing people, threatening people, bullying people, and harassing people because they disagree with your behaviour, believes, or ideology is ungodly behaviour.

You have been commanded by the Lord to love your neighbour!

Your neighbour may be full of sin, hate, and wicked deeds – but you have been called to a higher purpose then the evil doers, so you must
pray to your Creator for the patience and understanding necessary to love them through this.

Jesus also said, “Whoever has my commands and keeps them is the one who loves me. “

Never forget this. We are called to serve God - not man, and not false idols.

Are you following the Word of God or are you following the lies of man?

Don’t forget that our Lord and Saviour was mocked, beaten, and murdered on the cross because the masses believed the lies of the Pharisees.

So, heed this warning friends!
Do not confuse the lies of man with the truth of God’s Word.

Open your bible.
Repent of your sins.
Give your life to Jesus.
And pray that His helper, The Holy Spirit, will sanctify your soul.

Peace be with you.
